The Shape.It Link has the ability to change the geometry but importantly not the suspension kinematics. By using the shock extender and effectively moving the eye to eye length of the shock, the bottom bracket (BB) can be lifted or lowered.

 You can find the size of your Shape.It Link printed on its front edge.

The innovative ‘flip-chip’ allows you to change the geometry of the bike easily and quickly by raising or lowering the BB height. Switch it between high and low positions to slacken the bike out by 0.6 degrees and lower the BB by 8mm. You can also use a Shape.It Link to correct your bike’s geometry when converting an MX bike (29” front, 27.5” rear wheel) to a 29er set up (29” wheels front and rear).

For those who want the highest BB on their 29er, the Shape.It Link (62-66mm) gives the same high position of the Shape.It Link (58-62mm) while offering a ‘higher still’ position. The longer link also allows certain bikes to change from a 29er (29” wheels front and rear) to an MX mixed wheels set-up (29” front, 27.5” rear wheel) while maintaining the original geometry of the 29er.
